The previous ring sizing chart is for Christian Rings. Our rings are manufactured for the US market in whole sizes only. We do not do Half Sizes in the United States or Canada. Conversion into British, Australian and Japanese sizing is approximate. Size 9 is slightly larger than R & 1/2, and size 13 is slightly larger than Z & 1/2.
Sizing of Christian Purity Rings
When sizing Christian Purity Rings, please bare in mind that selected metals can not be easily sized. Stainless Steel and Pewter are not sizable at all. Attempting to size them may cause the metal to snap instead of stretch. Sizing Sterling Silver is difficult and should only be attempted by a qualified jeweler. You do run the risk of the item being permanently damaged. Sizing gold at all carats is a routine procedure than can be carried out by a qualified jeweler. Please note, sized jewelry can not be returned under any circumstances.

Can you tell me if the lettering is burnished in or painted on? Is it permanently colored yellow or is that just a coating? Also, I've had problems with sizing in stainless stell - usually run small. Is this typical of the same size in silver?
Answer: The lettering is printed on, it is regarded as a finish that is applied onto the stainless steel. The letters are not engraved. For the price this is a great deal. If you need something that you want to wear daily and that you want years of use from, then go with a ring with an engraved lettering finish - it will be far more durable. The engraving process does add to the cost, but it also adds to the longevity of the design.
