The Creation of Nahara:
Yarden Nahara Ltd. is the brainchild of Ronit Tzelnik, the company's co-founder. As far back as 1998, Ronit dreamt of creating a unique line of bath and body care products based on water from the Jordan River - from the place where Jesus was baptized.
Having been born on December 24, Christmas Eve, Ronit felt an affinity to Christianity throughout her life. And, as a native of Israel, she wanted to provide pilgrims to her country and Christians around the world with an inspirational gift from the Holy Land. Ronit shared her idea with Debbie Saperia, a colleague of hers.
The result is Nahara (which in ancient Aramaic means "River"), a true labor of love. The Nahara Collection is an original line of bath and body care products created from the waters and wild flowers along the Jordan River in Galilee the site of Jesus' baptism, and other natural ingredients.
