| My 11 year old son loves the series. Sure it's fun but he has actually learn a great deal of the Bible with the mangaBible series. I got him Vol 1 for Christmas and would not stop about when I was going to get him the next one. These days kids LOVE this kind of art as it is on all the animated series. | All these are great. The faster the guy writes them the better. My son hated to read at the beginning of the school year (early-August for us) and I am not kidding when I say these books helped to actually enjoy all kinds of reading. I bought the first one and two days later he asked me if there were more! Now he doesn't seem to mind reading books without pictures. | This particular series is perfect for its recommended age group. My son can't put them down, and they are books- Bible no less. Very low tech, but perfect for the 9-12 crowd. It's hip enough to share with friends, yet book enough to please adults.
