Jane Smith does a marvelous job of introducing the young to, and reminding us older kids of, the joy waiting to be discovered in Books!
The journey of Henley leads him to discover that heroes are wonderful chunks of conduit for the goodness from above to flow through them for the benefit of others. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes; young and old. They yearn to learn; then, they reach to teach.
This story will literally "draw you in" to a discovery of Universal Principles. As with "The Book", this book is a multi-faceted gem of "The Word". In my journey, this "older" kid found special agreement on Page 272, "General Blake said light was like truth, because I asked if I could trust the Gardener. I remember now. He said three words would tell me if something was truth - discovery, freedom and sight."
This book will open all eyes to the goodness of life!
