| This book is really awsome because it shows that there is a God and that there is a heaven. When i was little my father showed me this book but i wasnt really in to it because i was still young. But as i grew older i wanted to read it because i started to read the bible and i wanted to know more about heaven and what does our God have planned for us in our new home. | Jesse Duplantis is a great speaker on TBN(and so is Cathy for that matter), he has a great sense of humor and is a likable person. When you read any charismatic books, you must use your discernment, and always remeber the Bible is the ONLY reliable book for Christians, however this book is fun and delightful, and for me it was stimulating, and informitive. I can't say enough about Dr. Duplantis and his comedic talents. Mark Twain, Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, Bill Hicks and David Cross have nothing on Dr. Duplantis. This book may well be some of the best, knee slappin' fictional prose ever written. I cannot recommend this book enough.
It's a rollercoaster ride through heaven you'll want to relive again and again! First, Jesse takes you up the mountain with the King of Kings (he somewhere between 5'11" and 6'1" with brownish hair) and you can feel your stomach do cartwheels when Jesse meets Father Abraham. AMAZING! It's like you're right there with Jesse, right before he was literally taken right up from Room 105 in the Best Western in Arkansas to heaven's gate!One minute you're wondering if it can get any better--and BOOM!-- Jesse meets Paul and other Biblical superstars.
I only wish he would have made that picnic with the family who died in a car wreck, before the Almighty called him for His appointment. I bet the dead family packed a delicious lunch, I guess we'll never really know.
Dr. Duplantis will have you feeling the joy of the Lord in your belly when you read about the copper-coated fruit he ate in order to meet God. You'll giggle with holy delight as Jesse describes walking around heaven and fellowshipping with at Paul's place with Paul, who still asks about his gospel. Did I mention Jesse's eternal home in heaven is filled with Queen Anne furniture? You'll be lol'ing till Jesus returns!

I was skeptical at first, but I'm not foolish enough to doubt God's power to make Jesse's trip happen. Think about the book of Revelation itself. Why is it so hard to believe that God can still reveal himself today, in His own way, as He did 2000 & 3000 years ago?
Jesse's message in this book is tht Jesus coming back again....soon. That He loves us and wants us to spend eternity with Him, by accepting Him as our Savior. This is NOT the message of a false prophet. False prophets don't tell us about God's love for us. They steer us in the opposite direction.
They misquote scripture. This book DOESN'T.
As for Jesse's levity, well it's true, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine."

| I'm a born again christian and I saw the tapes of jesse duplantis's visit to heaven, and I read the negative reveiws of jesse duplantis books. For those so-called christians who don't have the holy spirit to descern a real prophect from a false one, apparently haven't read the word of God in depth, because it's says that you will know a false prophect by the fruits that he bears. So of you need to go back and read the word again because for judging the man of God you will also be judged and in the same measure that you judge. And who are you to call him a false prophect anyway? I don't know what kind of God your'e serving if you can't tell whose his true servants or not.
