Additional Information
Released in 2006 by Kelly's Filmworks
A female attorney gets a dinner invitation that reads, "you are invited to dinner with Jesus of Nazareth." Who would play a joke on her like that? What is this? She shows up and the man says He is Jesus. She is quite the skeptic, but as the dinner proceeds, the man speaks truth to her ears that opens up her eyes as to who Jesus really is. This movie is based on the novel, "Dinner with a Perfect Stranger."
Editor's Note: This movie has a scene in it where the Jesus character orders a bottle of wine. This website does not endorse alcohoic beverages in any way, shape or form. But, we decided to carry the film because it does present good truth in the movie and it is that truth which is worth hearing.

Reviews - What do customers think about Perfect Stranger?
 | The Perfect Stranger Mar 29, 2007 |
| This movie is perfect for those who want to understand what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I have never heard that relationship explained so clearly, as it is in this movie. This movie is not about denomination or religiosities, rather it brings into focus the true meaning of what it is to be a true Christian. Revelations 3:20 " Behold, I stand at the door and knock, and whoever hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with me". It is as simple as that. May God bless you. | | | | The Perfect Stranger Mar 24, 2007 |
| I have recommended this to so many people. Inspiring, beautiful moview. It is short too, for those of us in a hurry! | | | | Excellent movie that answers pointed questions Mar 16, 2007 |
| This film created a sense of the "real". No speculations or fantasies but real questions and real answers. I showed it to my eight grade youth group at church. Some "got it", the rest had silly remarks to make so it probably would have been best to show it to the high school aged kids. | | | | GREAT FILM - Modern Twist for a Modern World Feb 15, 2007 |
Great film, Excellent movie, The actor who played Jesus answers many questions that the world wants to ask today and does it biblical.I watched this film on Christian TV and at the end of the movie I was so blessed as I wiped a few tears. I highly recommend it for all ages and if you are new to being a christian and have a lot of questions get this movie!
| | | | Is everyone here a lemming? Feb 13, 2007 |
These reviews reflect the circle-the-wagons, lemmings-off-a-cliff, herd mentality that is much too common in the Christian community today. Aside from the production values, The Perfect Stranger was a terrible movie on every measure. From direction to acting to screenwriting, the whole film was poorly done. Any unsaved person who happens to be channel-surfing and comes across this stinker won't stick around long enough to hear anything that "Jesus" had to say (most of which, by the way, sounded more like a lecture from a first-year seminary student than the omniscient Son of God). In a unispiring performance, the man who plays "Jesus" drones on and on about apologetics, evolution, and counterfeit religions like Hinduism and Islam. The conversation between "Nikki" and "Jesus" is stiff and cerebral. That's not to say, though, that there's no emotion. From the very first scenes, I got the distinct feeling that Nikki needed to be medicated. She just about slips a gear when her child ("Peanut") takes too long to get ready for school.
I am a born-again Christian and I appreciate the ostensible goal of this film. However, it was a really, really, bad movie. Don't waste your money on this. | | | Write your own review about Perfect Stranger
