Florentina Laic
Biography
Florentina Laic was born in Bucharest – Romania. Though I had many hardships, my childhood was wonderful. She describes herself as, "...not an obedient child, but I was a lucky one, because I had gorgeous friends and school colleagues, passing with them through a lot of adventures. My parents were the best ones. They taught me about good and bad things and gave me the most important value – love for God and people..."
Florentina's grandmother was a librarian and this allowed her, from her early childhood, to read a lot of books, especially classic universal literature. She practiced a performance sport and learned foreign languages as a child, but her passions were reading and watching films.
Florentina holds a Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, and a Bachelor of Law.
She has also worked as teacher and public employee.
Florentina describes her book, Alike and Asparagus this way, "...in this book I put my thoughts and ideas in an indirect way. The imagination overpassed [surpassed] my limits and the book was born. So, in my vision, Country Everything is Upside Down represents the inverted values of a society where things that are not normal, having no base, principle or value - are appreciated by the inhabitants.
On the opposite way is Country of Everlasting Happiness, where real values of love, courage, compassion, understanding, and good facts, have the highest place, being rewarded with the most important thing – everlasting living and happiness.
